The African Green Revolution: Both Sides
By abg | January 13, 2009
This article on global warming caught my eye for one reason. It mentions how African soils are very depleted; this of course contributing to the low levels of agricultural productivity on the continent. Global warming is only going to make this worse. Quite a few heavyweights are pushing for a new African Green Revolution. See the pros and cons of this approach and make up your mind. I am still trying to think through this myself. Thoughts, comments most welcome.
