The Future of the WWW

Two articles I read recently throw up some possible scenarios for the WWW as we know it and fly in the face of the conventional wisdom that the Web is only going to get more global, faster and an essential part of our lives. The first article looks at the possible slowdowning of the Web in advanced economies; the second illustrates the likelihood of a two or three tier Web experience as developing countries with no advertising money get the low rent version of the Web.
